Teach in Nebraska is the home for recruitment of all professional education positions. Vacancies will be accepted for:

  1. All educationally certified staff in Nebraska, accredited public and non-public schools, including long-term substitute positions.

  2. Certified staff in community colleges, area education agencies, higher education, and the Nebraska Department of Education.

Please note: any third party agency seeking to post a job vacancy must name the school district or educational organization.

    What should I do?

Using the Delete/Modify link on the Post a Job page, simply indicate the changes you wish to make and submit the form. Please be very specific as to what position you want modified. Please list the exact position you want modified. Modifications and deletions are done within one business day of receipt.

8. How do I delete a posting?

As with modifying a posting, use the Delete/Modify link on the Post a Job page to submit a posting for deletion. Please be very specific as to what position you want deleted. As mentioned above, modifications and deletions are done within one business day of receipt. Postings are automatically deleted after 60 days unless a request is made to the site administrator for an extension.

9. What is the Professional Registration System?

The Professional Registration System (PRS) is a database maintained by the Nebraska Department of Education that notifies job seekers of job vacancy information that matches their qualifications as soon as new jobs are posted. By enrolling in the PRS, potential applicants are notified by email of the latest postings. Under no circumstances is information released to anyone other than administrative school district personnel unless express permission is given.

11. What is the purpose of the online application?

The online application form provides standard information about the candidate to assist in the screening process. A district may elect to sign up for the online application option. Please email the site administrator for details and instructions.
