Job Description:
Welding Instructor: Responsible for teaching first-year welding students at the McCook Community College Center for Applied Science and Technology. Works cooperatively with second-year instructor to ensure a quality welding education. MCC is looking for someone to deliver engaging curriculum with high standards of excellence and someone that will be looking for innovative and creative ways to reach students and continue the growth of the Welding program. About us: Mid-Plains Community College, a legislatively designated 18-county district in West-Central Nebraska, is a comprehensive, open access, public, two-year community college system that offers associate degrees, diplomas, and certificates. MPCC consists of three main campuses, one located in McCook, Nebraska and two located in North Platte, Nebraska. Additionally, there are extended campus sites in Broken Bow, Imperial, Ogallala and Valentine with satellite classrooms located throughout the Area. Qualifications: AAS degree in Welding and two years of current work experience in welding field required. Preferred: Ability to weld and teach all major welding processes, knowledge of current practices in use of technology for instruction, ability to work as a team member, and ability to work with a variety of students.

Cody-Kilgore Unified Schools has an opening for an 8th-12th grade math teacher at our high school in Cody, Nebraska, located approximately 37 miles west of Valentine in the heart of the scenic Sandhills. CKUS operates a four-day school week, Monday through Thursday, 8am to 4pm, with teacher inservice days on the first Friday of each month. Our community is family-oriented and progressive with strong academics and small class sizes between 12 and 19 students. Numerous family-owned ranches and businesses populate the district.
